Daniel Briere and Keith Jones are trying to get the Flyers back to an elite team in this league, something that the fans deserve after going throught the last number of seasons as a bottom feeder team thanks in large part to brutal moves by Fletcher and Hextall.

The Flyers were a dominant team for years before this recent history of decline.
One move made brings Sean Walker to the lineup. Who is Sean Walker?

Born in Keswick, Ontario, situated on Cook's Bay on Lake Simcoe, 72km north of Toronto, 28 year old Walker has spend his last five seasons with the LA Kings. Appearing in 70 games for the Kings last season, he had 3 goals, 10 assists for 13 points with a plus minus of -3 and accounting for an average ice time of 14:50 per game and 36 penalty minutes.

Something John Tortorella will take notice of were is 77 hits and 104 blocked shots from last season. He became a top four defenseman for the Kings in 2019/20 averaging 18:50 of ice time finishing with 24 points. He was traded to Philadelphia by LA with Cal Petersen, Helge Grans and a 2nd-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft for Ivan Provorov and Hayden Hodgson, June 6th 2023.

Wearing #26 for the Flyers this season, this right shot defenseman will most likely slot in on the third pairing with Seeler.
He continues to develop his bond with his new Flyers team off-ice:
Hopefully the move to Philly will give Walker a fresh start and he makes the best of this new opportunity with the orange and black.
