Mike Yeo's bet paid off

During yesterday's game, Mike Yeo made some changes to the line-up. For the game against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, the forward line was James Van Riemsdyk, Kevin Hayes and Owen Tippett, yesterday Yeo switched Van Riemsdyk for young prospect Noah Cates.

Yeo's decision paid off as the forward line as the best on the ice, topping Philadelphia at 0.64 xGF/60. The three players played together during the whole game as the line was not changed. Tippett scored his 2nd goal as a flyer and Noah Cates has now scored in 2 games in a row. Kevin Hayes also managed to score 2 points. Looks like playing the veteran next to two gems was a great idea from Yeo.


Morgan Frost also played a really good game, he managed to score a point and displayed a good performance overall. His pairing with Joel Farabee and Cam Atkinson is really promising.


It's the youth time in Philadelphia and they are not disappointing
