Flyers management and coaching staff keep proving time and time again that they have less hockey IQ than the average NHL fan. In last night's loss to the Chicago Blackhawks, Noah Cates, who's been playing lights out as of late had the third lowest ice time of all those who played.
"A big head scratcher last night in the Flyers loss to Chicago was that Noah Cates finished with the 3rd lowest ice time out of all players who played."
Noah Cates played 10:11, Zack MacEwen 10:07 and Boris Katchouk 9:50. Cates, 23, had 6 points in his last 4 games heading into last night. He was also riding a 2-game point streak having scored two and assisting one against the Penguins.
"Cates was on a 2 game point streak, 2g,2a during that span. Make it make sense."

Against Pittsburgh, Cates played 11:17 and was the first star while Farabee played 19:34 and was a minus-one.
