What an epic return for Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri after suffering a broken thumb two weeks ago after a dirty hit from Oilers Evander Kane in the Western Conference Finals Kadri made his Stanley Cup debut tonight in game four.

With the Avalanche up 2-1 in the series this game was huge. The Lightning took a 2-1 lead into the 3rd period but the Avalanche would tie it up and force overtime. This is when Kadri, who's wasn't expected to play in the remainder of the playoffs, would end up being the hero tonight.

Kadri would pick the puck up and roof it past Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy, but no one saw it go in. With everyone looking around they would realize that Kadri roof it under the bar where it got stuck as the Avalanche would celebrate. The Avalanche now have a 3-1 series lead and can wrap this bad boy up in Friday night in Denver. But don't count the two time defending Stanley Cup champs down until it's over.
