As per Elliot Friedman's report, the Philadelphia Flyers have stepped up their search for the President of Hockey Operations role.

It looks like Émilie Castonguay has since dropped interest in the position, as she is content in Vancouver, but Cammi Granato may be in the running still.
Granato and Castonguay were the first female assistant general managers hired in Canucks history, last year. Both filled different roles, as Castonguay handled contraction negotiations and Granato handled scouting and player development.
With both being considered, this is a good sign for the Canucks front office, however since Fletcher's dismissal last month, things could be better for the Flyers.
