Patrick Maroon angry at the league after getting a game misconduct for chirping Wayne Simmonds (VIDEO)

So, here's a weird situation.

Wayne Simmonds and Patrick Maroon got both a game misconduct yesterday for chirping last night. Of course, that's a very soft call from the officials on the ice, and Maroon wasn't afraid to speak his mind after the game.
"This game is going the wrong way. I guess you can't chirp each other on the bench now. I guess that is illegal. I guess it is better to watch 1980s hockey when guys are chirping each other but don't know why they did that," said Maroon after the game.
According to the Tampa Bay broadcast, Maroon told Simmonds he wouldn't be in the league by next year. Simmonds didn't appreciate it and this is how the chirping began.
