News broke today that the Pittsburgh Penguins have decided to make a major change to their management group. Ownership decided to relieve the duties of president of hockey operations Brian Burke, general manager Ron Hextall and assistant general manager Chris Pryor.
The Penguins are in a weird predicament, as their aging core still can compete with the NHL of today, however, they require a new crop of players as they move away from the Sidney Crosby era.
