Pens starting goaltender robs Travis Konecny of a sure goal.
The art of calling goals back has become better and better with state-of-the-art cameras and improved angles throughout the arenas. So many goals have been looked at over the past few years, and with the coach's challenge now in place goal scoring has been more scrutinized than ever.
Tonight, when the Flyers were playing against the Pittsburgh Penguins a sure goal looked to be in when
Travis Konecny put a beautiful shot on pens goaltender Casey Desmith.
After a lengthy review by the officials, it was deemed not a goal in the play continued. As all hockey fans know for a gold count it has to completely cross the red line and it needs to be clear and concise.

This no-goal, I would have to say is the closest one I've ever seen especially being in his glove now with the closer camera view it was shown that it appeared that the puck did cross the line while in his glove.
This same type of goal appeared in the Toronto Maple Leafs game against the Ottawa Senators in which the Senators' goal was counted after a review.
Do you feel this was a goal or no goal? I'll let the readership make the judgment on their own. Unfortunately, the Flyers lost the game 4-2 and will be on the road to play the St Louis Blues tomorrow at 8:00 PM eastern.
