Each NHL team submits a schedule of promotional nights before the season starts in order to ensure fans are aware of what to expect.

Earlier today, the Flyers announced that they would be holding a special night in honor of Ed Snider and bringing back a controversial event from the past.
It was announced that Pride Night would be held on January 10th, which was cause for controversy across the league.
During this game, there was a mutiny going on on the ice, as many fans from all over the league were indignant at the players foregoing tradition and not wearing their warm-ups.

A few other fans, however, decided to lash out as a result of the night happening, and this year will not be any different. There is quite a bit of discontent among Flyers fans regarding the resulting night that has been announced.
The fans continue to go into a frenzy over the recognition of yet another aspect of NHL fandom, in spite of such a harmless night.
All in all, as the NHL continues to expand its reach, so too does the ire of Flyers fans.
