Philadelphia Flyers defensemen Travis Sanheim was drafted seventeenth overall in the twenty-fourteen NHL entry draft, a true steal of a pick, and a rare Flyers management win.
Sanheim has developed a love/hate appreciation from Flyers fans, but in my personal opinion Sanheim, Provorov and DeAngelo are the Flyers glue on defense and has been the best trio the Flyers have had in quite some time.

Sanheim has played three-hundred and forty-five games with the Flyers organization since being drafted eight years ago in 2014, he has tallied up 135 points throughout his years, which is a very solid stat line for a defensemen, that has been with the recent-struggling Flyers.
The Flyers were scared to lose Travis Sanheim after this season due to the fact that his $4.65 million dollar deal is set to expire, and any team throughout the NHL would have had a shot to offer Sanheim a contract. Chuck Fletcher acted quick, and before the off-season could hit he locked up a 26 year old Travis Sanheim, until he is 35 years old, he is now under contract with the Flyers and holds a annual salary of $6.25 million.
