The Philadelphia Flyers are set to take on the Montreal Canadiens tonight in what promises to be an interesting matchup between two non-playoff teams with nothing to lose. This game is particularly less important for the Flyers, who are almost in the bottom 5 teams of the NHL, with a loss tonight they will be in the bottom 5 which will give them a much better draft pick percentage.

However, there's also an added layer of tension due to a previous altercation between Flyers forward Nic Deslauriers and Canadiens defenseman Arber Xhekaj. The last time these two teams faced off, Xhekaj suffered a season-ending shoulder injury after a physical encounter with Deslauriers. This incident has undoubtedly added some spice to tonight's game, as the Canadiens may be on the hunt for Deslauriers.
To make matters more interesting, the Canadiens have nothing to lose, as do the Flyers as well, but John Tortorella does not believe in 'tanking', and wants to end the season on a strong note. They may decide to target Deslauriers, who is known for his physicality and willingness to engage in fights. However, the Flyers will undoubtedly be ready to defend their teammate and show the Canadiens that they won't be intimidated.
