With Keith Jones and Danny Brière now fully in control of a Philadelphia Flyers front office, they have a lot of work to do get this franchise back on the right page.

Chuck Fletcher left the franchise in a mess, with players randomly signed and put in in the roster that no longer fit the goal and time frame of this rebuild. With this being the case, many players who were on the team this season, may be on the way out.
Let's take a look at who could stay and who could go this Flyers off-season.
C Sean Couturier: $7.75M AAV
Must read on FlyersInsider

This is a tough call, when Sean Couturier is healthy he is a really solid player. But the Flyers organization and fans haven't seen him play a regular season in game in a long time. He was close to returning this season but never did, he may return next season.
Couturier is a big off ice presence, as he can help develop young players. Noah Cates has already learned a lot from Couturier, as there are a lot of similarities between the two. The cap hit is high and the his no move clause makes it almost impossible to move him, but his leadership can help improve this young group
Verdict: STAY
C Kevin Hayes: $7.142M AAV

Kevin Hayes, was an immediate fan favourite when he first came to Philadelphia, as he had an amazing first season. He even was apart of a brewery in Philadelphia, having a drink named after him.
The past couple of seasons have been tough on Hayes, especially family wise. Which I will not hold against him. But even with all the surgeries he had, the weird All-Star selection this season, and even the little beefs him and Tortorella have had through the media, he was a fan favourite for a short time.
Verdict: GO
LD Travis Sanheim: $6.25M AAV
image

Travis Sanheim is another player who doesn't fit the rebuild, but he has such a hefty contract that there is no choice. I have always loved Travis Sanheim but he has been struggling with the team. Again, the team and Sanheim have no choice in this case, as he was just recently resigned and nobody will willingly take his contract.
He has loads of potential, but he has rarely played up to it. At this point you have to wonder if the Sanheim we saw last season is this the Sanheim we get for the next four plus years. Or will he bounce back, maybe Danny Briere can help him out.
Verdict: STAY
LD Ivan Provorov: $6.75M AAV
image

This contract originally looked too good to be true, as Ivan Provorov was something Flyers fans were looking for, for years. But, now it is looking more like a disaster.
Provorov's name has been in trade rumors over the past two seasons, as there seems to be distance between him and some people in the locker room and front office. Not to mention, the bad Pride Night protest and how it was handled rubbed some fans (and even management) the wrong way. He may have to look elsewhere for a fresh start.
Verdict: GO
