Philadelphia Flyers Reportedly Interested In These Pending Free Agents Including A Familiar Face

The Philadelphia Flyers season is thankfully almost over sitting 7th in the Metropolitan Division and and definitely heading into a full-on rebuild especially with a new General Manager to be named this summer.
However the Flyers appear to also be interested in bringing in some more veteran leadership including a former fan favorite in Philadelphia. According to NHL Trade Rumors the Flyers are rumored to be interested in acquiring these 3 free agents.

Simmonds was loved during his time with the Flyers,despite his best years behind him Simmonds could bring in some more needed toughness as well as still be able to add some offence.
#2 Defenceman Carson Soucy
If you watched any of the Flyers games this season it's clear they desperately needed some help on defence. Soucy would fit in nicely the 28 year-old is a solid tyo-way defenceman and is a big body at 6'5 220 perfect to help clear the crease for Carter Hart.
#3 Forward Danton Heinen
Heinen would be another nice pick-up he's definitely no sniper but can score a few goals, but Heinen is a good defensive forward and would help the Flyers 3rd or 4th line and would be a much needed improvement.
