If you haven't heard the name Elliot Desnoyers yet, you'll begin to hear it a lot more often.

The Quebec native is a 5'11 left winger drafted in the fifth round, 135 overall in 2020, and has been on an absolute tear as of late. He can also play center.

"He plays an honest brand of hockey in the defensive zone and never flees a moment sooner than his team has secured the puck."

Captaining the Halifax Mooseheads, Desnoyers has 30 goals and 34 assists in 49 games. Meaning in a 61 game span, he's looking at 37 goals and 79 total points.

Desnoyers was also at this year's World Juniors getting 3 assists in 2 games. His analysis on Elite Prospects is encouraging too.

"He's so much better off of the puck than he is on it. If you want a player who will selflessly run head-first through a brick wall if that's what's necessary for his linemates to succeed, then look no further than Desnoyers."

He has 3 goals and 2 assists in his last 5 games played and 9 in the 10 game span.

Look out for him at training camp this year.
