Proud Tortorella Shows His Emotion towards Bobby Brink

As hard as John Tortorella can be on his players, the 65-year-old head coach will give recognition when the player deserve it. During interviews and media scrums, he has no issue pointing out great things that players have done, and that their work does not go unnoticed.

Tonight, the Flyers were playing against the Minnesota Wild, and a special moment happened when rookie forward Bobby Brink scored his first goal of the season and his career as an NHLer.
Halfway through the second period, with the Flyers leading 2-0, Brink received a pass where he was directly in front of Filip Gustavsson, and he shovelled it past him to make it 3-0. As soon as he skated to the bench, Torts came over and gave him a big pat on the back, showing his emotion and appreciation for all the hard work he had been doing from training camp till now.

With all the hard work that Brink is doing, along with the rest of the Flyers staying true to their game of defence-first and receiving superb goaltending from Carter Hart, the team will continue to do well and potentially quite some naysayers on how this team will finish this year.
