REPORT: Flyers and Hurricanes Complete Trade
The Flyers have reportedly completed a trade with the Hurricanes for Forward/Center Massimo Rizzo. They have had their eye on him since at least June. He was rumored to be the key piece in the never-would-happen Tony DeAngelo trade.
The current Denver University Center was drafted by the Hurricanes in the 7th round of the 2019 draft. At Denver University he recorded 17G, 29A for 49 Points in the 2022/23 season.
He along with Flyers current prospect, Bobby Brink, helped Denver University win the NCAA title in 2021/22. Throughout that season he recorded 12G, 24A, 36 points as a Freshmen.
