The Flyers have juggled some of their players today, one is young winger Olle Lycksell back to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Injured forward Bobby Brink has also been reactivated from injured reserve and has also been sent to The Phantoms.
The thought is Brink is going back to The Phantoms for a conditioning stint. Lycksell has only played three games with the Flyers this season and has registered no points and two shots. Certainly, sometime down with The Phantoms would be best for his continued development and improvement as the season goes forward.
Brink had hip surgery in July and is now fully recovered. One would say he would spend the remainder of his season with The Phantoms to continue to build strength and increase ice-time.
The Flyers have several prospects in their system that they will be excited about, including Brink, Cutter Gauthier, who is playing in the world junior championship, and current Flyer Cam York.
