Noah Cates, a young two-way forward for the Philadelphia Flyers, recently filed for arbitration after the team and GM Danny Briere offered him and three other Flyers RFA's qualifying offers.

Despite his impressive performance this season, with 13 goals and 38 points in 82 games, it seems that the offer wasn't to his liking.

It's possible that Cates is hoping for a bigger piece of the pie, which could be justified given his skill and hard work.
However, whether or not he will receive a higher offer remains to be seen, as the hearing has yet to be scheduled.
Head coach John Tortorella has praised Cates for his intelligent playing style and competitive spirit.
