Reporter asks Wayne Simmonds if he's soft, and his answer is hilarious (VIDEO)
The Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning competed against each other again last night. Jon Cooper's players ate their adversaries alive by winning 8-1.
One of the storyline of this game was the rivalry between Lightning's Patrick Maroon and Maple Leafs' Wayne Simmonds. They went after each other from the beginning of the game...During intermission, Leah Hextall asked Wayne Simmonds if he was soft...
"We've never dropped the gloves. He's never obliged me before so I don't think I'm the one that's soft," said Wayne Simmonds.
And what had to happen, happened. Maroon and Simmonds finally dropped the gloves and they seemed to enjoy this one, as they both smiled at each other in the middle of the fight.
