For the fifth straight game, Flyers goalie Samuel Ersson gets the start at goal as Carter Hart continues his comeback at full strength. Although not starting, Carter Hart is listed as the backup which is another promising sign as he continues to get healthy.

As the Flyers as a whole are clicking on all cylinders, one of the men behind their hot streak has been Ersson. In his last five starts, Ersson has won four starts with a 90% save percentage and a 2.51 GAA. Most impressively, Ersson recorded 32 saves in a 1-0 shutout win against the Detroit Red Wings last Saturday night.
The Flyers will need another strong performance from Ersson tonight as they look to earn their fourth straight win against the Nashville Predators who come into tonight's matchup winning seven of their last 10 games and a high-powered offensive attack led by Filip Forsberg.
The Flyers and head coach John Tortorella have the utmost confidence in Ersson and have been thrilled with the improvements he has made game by game.
"He just keeps getting better. He made some key saves at key times... (And) then in the shootout he takes over for us."
