Two days ago, Chuck Fletcher announced that Samuel Morin's career was over because of the multiple injuries he suffered. It was obviously pretty heartbreaking: the defenseman had the potential to become a regular in the NHL.

Morin addressed the media today, and here's what he said.
The former first round pick said that hockey will always be a part of him. He wants to work in the sports in another capacity.

"I want to graduate the ranks and some day be higher-up. Hockey will always be a part of me, for sure," said Morin.

The good news for him is that he got a lot of support from his family in Quebec, which helped him to go through difficult times.
Morin gave everything that he could, but at the end of the day, he couldn't go further.
"I played hurt and really, really wanted to be a hockey player," said Morin.
