Ivan Provorov, the Flyers defenseman who sparked controversy this week with his choice for not wearing the pride uniform during warm-up, had a wild game against the Winnipeg Jets.

Firstly, Provorov received a puck to the head during the game and skated back to the bench.
Later on, with the Jets leading 3-0 Provorov skated down with his teammates and pinch toward the net. He received a pass from Owen Tippett and he put it past David Rittich. Unfortunately, the Flyers could not finish off the Jets and they lost the game 5-3.

The 26-year-old defenseman has also made the news in the NHL rumors department. It's been well-known for some time that he hasn't been pleased with the Flyers organization and his name has been linked to at least a dozen teams looking to secure his services.
With the trade deadline looming on March 3rd it remains to be seen if the Flyers will pull off a trade to send Provorov to another team.
The Edmonton Oilers are one such organization looking for defensive help and you have assets they could send to the Flyers to continue their aggressive rebuild.
