In 2009, Sidney Crosby, who has been regarded as one of the greatest players to ever lace up his skates, became the youngest captain in Penguins history and the youngest player to lead a Stanley Cup-winning team.

He has won several awards and has led the league in scoring on numerous occasions. However, he earned his first game misconduct last night in his 18-year NHL career.
Sidney Crosbywas cross-checked andshoved in the back by Mikey Anderson, which caused him to flopand into the path of Sean Durzi, who fell on top of Crosby. This enraged Crosby, who "shared words" with Anderson and the referee which lead to himreceivinga 10-minute misconduct penalty. Crosby, who wasn't afraid to tell the referees that the penalty was unjustified, thought otherwise. A disagreement resulted in the future Hall of Famer being ejectedfor the first time in his career, which was unfortunate for him and the rest of his squad.
