Somehow the Flyers injury situation just got 10x worse..

Flyers forward Travis Konecny left the teams road trip days ago to head back to Philadelphia for further evaluation on his upper-body injury, it seems as if his wrist was twisted up quite awkwardly in the play shown below:

Tortorella has stated Konecny, the Flyers leading goal scorer, will miss his second straight game in a row.

To add, another Flyers forward is missing tonight's game, and that is forward Scott Laughton after hitting his head in Saturday's game against the Montreal Canadiens. Both are expected to soon be placed on the Flyers injury reserve.

That will make Cam Atkinson, Sean Couturier, Travis Konecny, Scott Laughton, Wade Allison, James Van Riemsdyk and Ryan Ellis. That is two full forward lines missing of players, Flyers Chuck Fletcher needs to make a splash soon or the Flyers playoff hopes will be crushed and this six game losing streak will be extended.
