Recently, there was a situation in which Michigan State hockey player, Jagger Joshua, was the victim of racist comments.

The incident occurred against Ohio State University, and Joshua spoke on the situation shortly after. P.K. Subban spoke up and supported Joshua for speaking out about the incident.
Ohio State has recently come out and said that they have sent home the player who used racial slurs towards Joshua, Kamil Sadlocha.

Sadlocha is away from the team indefinitely and there doesn't seem like there is a good chance for him to play hockey at the university, or any other school, again.
To add onto the story, Big Ten representatives have recently released a statement as to why they did not provide further punishments for Sadlocha following the situation.
We are in support of Jagger Joshua at this time and fully believe that there is no place for racist, or hatred of any kind, in hockey or in this world.
