Swiss star rejoins countryman Josi in Nashville

Earlier today, it was reported that notable free agent Nino Niederreiter has signed. 2-year $8.0 million ($4 million AAV) contract with the Nashville Predators.
Niederreiter was a pending UFA and many teams knew they would not be able to re-sign all their guys. We forget that just a few days ago, forward Max Pacioretty joined the Carolina Hurricanes from Vegas with a $7 million cap hit.
Nashville clearly believes that can make a splash. Trading for Ryan McDonagh and signing Niederreiter definitely please their fans. Imagine what they could do if they manage to sign Matthew Tkachuk.
Niederreiter, 29, spent the last four seasons in Carolina putting up 24 goals and 20 assists for 44 points in 75 games.
