According to several NHL sources, the Tampa Bay Lightning actively working with Ryan McDonagh and his agents to identify a team he would consider to be traded to.

Fresh off reaching three Stanley Cup Final in a row, it seems as if the team is finally ready to part ways with some of its core players. McDonagh, 33, has 4 years left on his $6.75M AAV contract and is one of the names being thrown around.
This offers an interesting opportunity to reunite the veteran with a familiar face he knows quite well in John Tortorella. McDonagh has seen and done it all in this league. He has that championship pedigree and has a leadership quality the Flyers are currently craving.

McDonagh spent four seasons under Tortorella in New York, reaching the Conference Finals in 2011. He even captained the Rangers from 2014-2018.
The Minnesota native may be looking for a change of scenery and a chance to prove himself in another market. He does however hold a full no trade clause, but may be inclined to wave it, should a suitable team present themselves.
In 71 games played last year, McDonagh had 4 goals and 22 assists for 26 points and a plus 15 rating. If Ivan Provorov chooses to go, a guy like him could surely help the youngsters like Cam York find their stride. Especially if the Flyers take defenceman David Jiricek 5th overall.
