Ken Holland, the general manager of the Edmonton Oilers, has gained a reputation for pursuing aging players past their prime in search of veteran experience.
This strategy frustrated fans during his time with the Red Wings, and Oilers fans have also witnessed it firsthand.
However, there seems to be a change in Holland's approach as reports suggest he's now interested in younger talent.
According to The Hockey News, Holland has set his sights on Travis Konecny and Scott Laughton from the Philadelphia Flyers.

Laughton had an impressive season, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists under the guidance of coach John Tortorella.
He is currently under a five-year, $15 million contract. Meanwhile, Konecny showcased his scoring prowess with 31 goals in just 60 games.
