The Edmonton Oilers had a great Playoff run last season knocking off the Los Angeles kings, aswell as the battle of Alberta rivals Calgary flames, but couldn't get past the Colorado Avalanche in the Western Conference Finals.

However, the Oilers have alot to build of from that run and Oilers General Manager Ken Holland is looking to improve his team this season to take another run. Holland re-signed forward Evander Kane and brought in a real number one goaltender in free agency from the Toronto Maple Leafs Jack Campbell.
