The Florida Panthers have traded for a former Flyers defenseman

Now, it's Robert Hagg's turn to go play hockey for the Panthers. According to Frank Seravalli, Florida just acquired the 27-year-old defenseman.

In return, the Sabres obtained a 6th round pick this year.

For those who are asking if the Panthers have unlimited cap space, the answer is no. Aaron Ekblad was put on LTIR earlier today. It allowed them to acquire Robert Hagg.

Ekblad should be back sometime during the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
