The Flyers General Manager Continues to Speak Lies - Player Placed on Injury Reserve

Flyers general manager Chuck Fletcher announced prior to the Flyers' opening night of the season that both Cam Atkinson and Sean Couturier are fully healthy and are good to go, fans were more then happy... until news broke that Atkinson is nowhere close to being ready, and actually didn't even practice with the team until nearly 20 days after Fletcher said he was good to go. Couturier on the other hand, you are probably aware of the news already- he has yet to take the ice in practice or a game this season and still has months of recovery time to hit the ice, and that is ''if'' he returns to play this season.

Tough news all around but lately Atkinson has taken the ice, and information was revealed that Atkinson traveled with the team for their recent road trip, and also practiced while enduring full body contact.

Those were all good signs, until the Flyers announce that Atkinson is now placed on the injury reserve, and what looks to be like a major setback was endured.
