If you didn't know this by now, new Chicago Blackhawks GM Kyle Davidson wants assets and is not afraid to go out and get what he wants. Alex DeBrincat may be next.

This trade deadline he and other rookie GM Julien BriseBois made a trade involving Brandon Hagel.
The Blackhawks received players Boris Katchouk and Taylor Raddysh, two consecutive first round picks in 2023 and 2024 for the 23-year-old. If a guy like him is not untouchable then neither is DeBrincat.
"It is very possible some of his prime years might be wasted on a rebuilding Chicago squad...If DeBrincat continues to tear it up offensively, he could find his next contract comparable to such wingers as Toronto's Mitch Marner and Colorado's Mikko Rantanen."

This year, the American forward had 41 goals and 37 assists in 82 games and is still just 24 years of age.
According to insiders, the Los Angeles Kings, New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers are all very interested as of right now. With the fifth overall pick in play, the Flyers are one of the teams who have an asset that could most likely entice the Blackhawks.
Could we see another big move this summer?
