Today, the Flyers made an interesting roster movement today. The team placed Ryan Fitzgerald on waivers today. He was on Injury Reserve since the beginning of the season.

With that, the Flyers now have 2 contracts available for the trade deadline, and they can now take 3 NHL contracts in possible trades from here to Monday. The other thing is that it gives the club more flexibility with the NCAA free agency coming up.
