Last season was very painful to watch if you were a Philadelphia Flyers fan. The flyers would finish Last in the Metropolitan division with a 25-46-11 record. Unfortunately the Flyers General Manager didn't make many changes due to salary cap space, meaning if the Flyers are to improve it's going to happen with the core they have.

The most important thing right now is for Flyers goaltender Carter Hart to return to the Hart he was during the 2019-20 season, going 24-13-0 with a 2.42
goals against average and a .914 save percentage.
Hart is just 23 years of age and has already played four season's in Philadelphia. When the Flyers drafted Hart in the second round 48th overall in 2016, analysts compared Hart to Canadiens goaltender Carey Price. Hart hasn't lived up to those expectations yet, but with Hart just coming into his prime, the Flyers hope Hart can become the franchise goaltender they were hoping he would become when they drafted him.
