Just as Danny Briere stepped into the GM position for the Philadelphia Flyers, he let it be known he would listen in on any players if the price was right.

After the 2023-2024 season begins, Briere will have until the trade deadline to decide on who to move and for what.
The names of multiple players are appearing again on trade lists, even though he had high asking prices for them.
The Athletic has released a NHL's biggest trade targets for 2023-24:
William Nylander, Connor Hellebuyck, more
and two Flyers have emerged on it.

As a result, Konecny scored 61 points in 60 games this past season and would yield a good return if he continues to produce.
With his disciplined play, Scott Laughton has gained the trust of his head coach and wears an "A" for the alternate captain. Laughton had a career year with 18-25 for 43 points, and winning a World Hockey Championship has a nice ring to it as well.
Despite the high price, Laughton would make a great depth addition for a contender. Regardless, Briere should be able to maximize value if he decides to move either player.
