The 2023-24 season for the Flyers is approaching. Training camp is getting ready to start and the first preseason game will be here before you know it. Last year didn't go as planned and the Flyers did not do as much needed to become a contender this season (Although, crazier things have happened).

In order to at least have some kind of success this season the Flyers are going to need to do the opposite of last years 2022-23 season. The outcomes will need to be different. Here are three things from last year that will help the Flyers have a successful season.
Get Healthy and Stay Healthy
The Flyers were crushed with key injuries last season. Within the first month they lost top line Defenseman in Ryan Ellis after 6 games and their top 3 centers. Thats enough that will decimate a season. If the team can stay healthy and grow together, they have the talent to be able to play decent hockey. Stay healthy friends.

Leadership to Lead
With Claude Giroux gone and no captain announced as of yet- who is going to lead this team to battle? Will a captain be named before the start of the season? Someone is going to have to step up and be a voice on the ice and in the locker room. That was a clear issue in past seasons.
Play Well at Home
Home ice advantage has not been kind to the team or the fans. Going 14-21-6 is something that just cannot happen. If the Flyers get a few more regulation wins at home, this team could have been in better shape for playoffs. Have to win at home, for the team's sake and for the paying customer.
