Camillo, who formerly held the positions of president of the Wells Fargo Center and president of corporate operations for the Philadelphia Flyers, was promoted, according to Dave Scott, chairman and CEO of Comcast Spectacor. In her new position as president and CEO of Spectacor Sports and Entertainment, she will take over.
Camillo will continue to oversee corporate operations and play a significant organizational leadership role for the Flyers in her new position. According to the Flyers, she will continue to be in charge of the $350 million renovation of the Wells Fargo Center as well as the company's plans to develop the South Philadelphia Stadium District into one of the top sports and entertainment hubs in the nation.
Scot stated in a statement that since Camillo joined the company in January 2019, his "talent, vision, and determination have favorably influenced every element of Spectacor sports and entertainment." She "skillfully guided our business through the peak of the COVID outbreak," he claimed.
In all of sports and entertainment, Scott praised Camillo for "building one of the most outstanding, diverse, and innovative teams."
