After a good win in Game 1, the Pittsburgh Penguins lost yesterday in Game 2 at MSG against the Rangers. Louis Domingue wasn't able to get the "W" for his team, even though he played a pretty solid game.
But things could get even worser for the Penguins.
The team announced that goaltender Casey DeSmith, who started Game 1, is out of the remainder of the playoffs as he underwent successful core muscle surgery. Let's remind that Tristan Jarry, their #1 goaltender, is also out.
Thus, the faith of the club are going to be between Domingue's hands. The series is still young, and the Penguins managed to get a win on the road to retake the home ice advantage. But the task will be big.
