The Son of Flyers GM announces his next steps.
The Flyers entered a period of flux after firing their president and the general manager just before the trade deadline. The Flyers hired Danny Briere to be their intern general manager.
After a few moves, and a few weeks of settling into the role, the Briere family was rocked by the story that came out about his son Carson.
After the video surfaced and everyone saw that he pushed the wheelchair down the stairs, Carson was removed from the Mercyhurst hockey team. It was announced today that he will be entering the NCAA Division One transfer portal. Whether this will help him or not will remain to be seen.
For now, Danny Briere will be focusing his attention on the Flyers and making sure that they are put in the right direction as the offseason approaches along with the draft and unrestricted free agency this summer.
I'm sure he will be continuing to deal with his son's antics and hopefully, this young man will learn from his mistakes.
