After a two game winning streak, the Flyers lost yesterday at home against the Red Wings. It was a totally deserved win for the visitors, as the hosts delivered a pretty poor effort.
For example, the Flyers powerplay was 0 for 5 yesterday, despite John Torchetti taking over as powerplay coach.. In their last 20 attempts at 5 against 4, Philadelphia has scored only 1 goal.
The Flyers powerplay has been the worst in the league since January 20th.
Even the Canadiens have been (much) better than the black and orange...
Philadelphia will be back in action Saturday against those same Red Wings.
