Tony DeAngelo Got Into an Altercation With a Player or Staff?
Tony DeAngelo has been bounced around the NHL, after getting into a confrontation with Alexander Georgiev in New York.
You'd think he'd be shown the door, as someone not able to get along with his teammates, however since New York he's been to Raleigh and did a stint with the Carolina Hurricanes, which he was also ceremoniously ushered out of the organization as well.
His behavior issues go back as far as his time with the Syracuse Crunch and in the OHL with the Sarnia Sting. So has he learned from the past?

«That's a situation Tony and I need to work through with the team.»
- John Tortorella on whatever may have happened with Tony DeAngelo, who was benched for final five games
Fans are speculating that he once again, wore out his welcome in another locker room and if what John Tortorella said is true, why has Tony continued to want to play in Philadelphia especially if he's a negative influence?
Primarily ego? Regardless, it sounds like he's punching above his weight as his production offensively is great, he's not a two-way defenseman and his $5 million AAV sounds unjustified especially if he can't get along with teammates--again.
During exit interviews, DeAngelo claimed that riding the pine for 5 games was ridiculous, but if it is this bad, Briere needs to get whatever assets he can for him.
Chalk it up to another Chuck Fletcher error.
