Flyers head coach John Tortorella has always been able to captivate a room when he stands at the podium or during a media scrum giving his honest and sometimes brutally honest opinion on his players not performing, the game was called wrong or taking on the media itself.

Sometimes, the Flyers reporter managed to get a lighter moment with the head coach as the 64-year-old is known to crack a few jokes. As the Flyers prepared to take on the Florida Panthers while on the road, torts spoke with several reporters about two of his defencemen and how close they are with communication and personally.
This kind of bond and friendship is exactly what Tortorella is hoping for as he is
trying to build some camaraderie and trying to achieve something that was not possible earlier this year which is making the playoffs.

It's clear that Cam York and Jamie Drysdale have rekindled their friendship. York explained how Drysdale would always hang around his house in Anaheim as he is best friends with Trevor Zegras who lived with York for one year.
It's clear the Flyers have embraced Drysdale as he has already made an impact on the defence core and he's also helping Flyers fans and management forget Cutter Gauthier.
The 21-year-old has played eight games with the Flyers and has one goal, to assist for three points and two penalty minutes. Tortorella clearly trusts him as he has held an average ice time of 19 minutes and 40 seconds.
Game time for the Flyers Panthers game will be 7:00pm on February 6th.
