The Fountain of Youth. How many times have we heard that? The Flyers organization isn't sure what type of fountain the youth is, but we will find out this season and I don't think that is a bad thing at all. For years, the team has been built on free agents and aging players. With a ton of new rookies and younger players coming it was about time we saw someone that wants change.

Coach John Tortorella Earlier in the day said he wanted to build a foundation with young players.
«I'm going to play the kids; I'll tell you that right now,» the new Philadelphia Flyers coach said on Thursday, the first day of training camp.

Flyers forward Wade Allison smiled when a reporter told him about Torts' plan. Allison, one of the younger guys on the team dealt with an injury last year that kept him out for some time had this to say about the coaching move.

«That's the first time I've heard that, but that sounds awesome to me,» said Allison, who is healthy after an injury-plagued season. «I like it.»

That's good news for guys like Noah Cates, Morgan Frost, Allison, Cam York, Owen Tippett, Tanner Laczynski, and Isaac Ratcliffe. Same goes for the next tier of up-and-coming players like Tyson Foerster, Olle Lycksell, Egor Zamula, Elliot Desnoyers, Zayde Wisdom, Ronnie Attard, and Linus Hogberg.
Flyers GM Chuck Fletcher said the Philadelphia Flyers could break camp with 10 players 25 or under. This could only mean that everyone will finally see how good these younger kids are. For years Flyers fans screamed "Bring up the kids, bring them". Well i guess it's about time they do it.
