The media day for the Vegas Golden Knights was informative, but dismal. Kelly McCrimmon, the GM announced even more injuries that the team will need to contend with even before the preseason starts.

His announcements sound like a M*A*S*H unit with so many players suffering from injuries.
Mark Stone, Brendan Brisson and Peter Diliberatore will be in non-contact jerseys as training camp commences. Brisson may shed the red jersey shortly.
Nolan Patrick, Robin Lehner and Shea Weber will not play this 2022-23 season.

Laurent Brossoit, Daniil Miromanov, Spencer Foo, and Jakub Demek will miss training camp with injuries.
While not injured, Nicolas Hague remains unsigned and McCrimmon hopes to remedy that by the start of the new season. McCrimmon stated that signing Hague is a priority. The team has about $3.8 million of cap space when all the players on LTIR are taken into consideration.
Hague carried a $863,333 cap hit until his contract expired. With all the injuries, signing Hague needs to get done.
The Vegas team seems to be falling apart at the seams of late. The injuries certainly won't help them as they attempt to get back to the postseason.
Last year's team missed the playoffs for the first time in its history. Some experts are posing the question, that perhaps it's about time for their first rebuild. That remains to be seen, but injuries can certainly disable even a quality team.
Will the Golden Knights lose their armor and be a worse team than last year?
