Two Flyers Forwards Separated at Birth?
Their games are different, they were born in different provinces but Wade Allison and Owen Tippett share two things, their team locker room and their looks.
While on the Crossing Broad YouTube channel, Owen Tippett was asked if he and Wade Allison were related. Both players share an uncanny resemblance.
Journalist Russ Joy asked Tippett if he had issues with people thinking he was Allison. Tippett was in good spirits about it and he joked that a couple of times during the season the guys in the dressing room would poke fun at the idea they looked remarkably similar. After some time, it did die down.
Allison and Tippett's careers are certainly not the same, Allison has been plagued with injuries all season including missing 5 weeks due to a lower-body injury, while Tippett is finding his game as a flyer after being traded from the Florida Panthers last season.
