Tyson Foerster isn't the best forward prospect in the Flyers organization according to this reporter

Daniel Brière had some great words for Tyson Foerster a month ago.

"Tyson Foerster is, I think, a special prospect. He can really shoot the puck. When we talk about finding a shooter who has size – I'm hoping he develops. He really wants it. He wants to be at the rink. He's a rink rat. That's a really good thing," said Brière.

After a long recovery this season because of an injury, Foerster is getting more and more comfortable on the ice with the Barrie Colts in the OHL. He scored a hat-trick this weekend, and has 6 points in 6 games.

He is the sniper the Flyers were looking for.

According to many people (and Daniel Brière if we read between the lines), Foerster is the best forward prospect in the organization. But this isn't what Charlie O'Connor from The Athletic thinks.

"I think Brink is the Flyers' best forward prospect period, even ahead of Foerster. To me, he's way more of a creator than Foerster is, or will be. If Brink hits, I think he could drive a line. Foerster to me is more of a support shooter and power play weapon. This is not to say Brink is a future star. My guess is the Flyers don't have one of those in the pipeline. But I'm higher on Brink than Foerster at the moment," wrote O'Connor.
