In the past week, it has felt like the Philadelphia Flyers have been the center of all the hockey talk podcasts, tv shows, and media as they sent shockwaves through the NHL after trading top prospect Cutter Gauthier.

From head coach John Tortorella calling out Philly media members for causing drama with Kevin Hayes, to Scott Hartnell being featured on Barstool's "Spittin Chicklets" podcast, many hockey icons have given their perspectives on the situation.
The latest NHL great to speak on the subject is none other than former Flyer Jeremy Roenick. Roenick played three seasons for the Flyers, leading them to division titles and leading the team in assists.
Roenick defended the Flyers organization and had nothing but great things to say about Philadelphia and the fans on the "Snipes and Striped" podcast.
"Now he pissed off the wrong fanbase. He just p----d off fans who boo santa clause. I don't think Gauthier really did his homework on how good Philly is and how good he could've been in Philly. First of all, the fans are amazing."
