One of the leagues most electric offensive weapons actually used his stick as a weapon tonight and received a match penalty.
Kirill Kaprizov got into a dust up with the Los Angeles Kings Drew Doughty and chopped him across the face with the shaft of stick.
George Parros will be dishing out more suspensions this week and one has to think this incident will land Kaprizov more than the two games Matthew Tkachuk and Josh Anderson received last week.
Kaprizov will be sorely missed in the Wild's lineup, as he has posted 8 goals and 5 assists in 11 games for the mediocre Minnesota squad this year.
