Who was and wasn't there on team picture day

Today was team picture day for the Philadelphia Flyers and there were a few absents. Many fans just can't help but notice that a very familiar person wasn't there this year.
Claude Giroux, for the first time in his NHL career, will be wearing the jersey of another team come photo time.
As management, staff and the players lined up, Ryan Ellis was also absent this time around. Many fans were wondering if he ditched the team.

It is incredibly ironic and funny that he wouldn't be there given his absence from the team this season. Somewhere down the line I'm sure he'll be photoshopped in. He is not even in Philly right now.
I wonder how much of a turn around we'll be having this time next year. Who will wear the "C"?
