Widow of a former NHL Player Who Passed Away Is Getting Cyber Bullied On Social Media

April 11th 2020 The Edmonton Oilers lost a player and Emily lost the love of her life when Colby Cave lost his life after a cyst in his brain ruptured and doctors could not control the bleeding He was only 25-years-old.
After Cave's wife, Emily, released a statement
"It is with great sadness to share the news that our Colby Cave passed away this morning," the statement said. "Both our families are in shock but know our Colby was loved dearly by us, his family and friends, the entire hockey community and many more. We thank everyone for their prayers during this difficult time."

As an undrafted free agent in 2015, Cave signed an entry-level contract with the Bruins, and spent five seasons in the Boston system before being claimed off waivers by the Oilers.
The Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins honored Cave by having wife Emily drop the puck for the ceremonial face-off the first game the two teams faced each other.
Emily Cave has tried to keep Colby's name going on through social media sharing her grief to help others who else are going through similar circumstances. Unfortunately on social media your not everyone is decent and the internet is full of some nasty people and some of them would say some nasty things to Emily.
Emily called out the troll for his comments he left on pictures of her with her new boyfriend. However, the person making the comments actually posted from his business account to which has since been deleted. This troll obviously knew he would get some major backlash for his disrespectful comments so he decided to pack it in and run away.
